Durch mein 2 Kulturen behaftetes Umfeld habe ich ein kulturelles Interesse entwickelt.
Es gibt viele Missverständnisse, welche durch kulturelle Hintergründe hervorgerufen werden. Das beste Exempel dafür sind Vorurteile.
Wir können in keiner Gesellschaft leben, in der wir uns auf Vorurteile stützen und uns so entfremden, anstatt aufeinander Zuzugehen. Vorallem nicht in einem Zuwanderungsland wie es Deutschland ist. Tag täglich müssen wir uns mit anderen ethnischen Gruppierungen auseinandersetzen, wir wollen ja schließlich auch intergieren. Damit dies möglich werden kann muss die Völkerverständigung gefördert werden. Ebenso sind interkulturelle Kompetenzen in politischen, ökonomischen und sozialen Fragestellungen notwendig, da wir uns in einer globalisierten Welt befinden und vertretbare Entscheidungen treffen müssen. Am besten wird das ermöglicht, wenn man selbst in einem fremden Land ist und sich den Umständen anpassen muss um sich integrieren zu können.
Durch meinen Auslandsaufenthalt will ich meinen sprachlichen Wortschatz erweitern und somit auch mein interkulturelles Verständnis.
Soziales Engagement ist auch ein Thema, welches angesprochen werden muss, da es zunehmend Hilfebedürftige Menschen gibt, vorallem in Entwicklungsländern, welche fern von sozialer Unterstützung leben. Man kann die Umstände nur verbessern, wenn man tatkräftig wird. Dazu ist das Anbieten von Hilfeleistung ein Teil von mir, weil meine Mutter an MS erkrankt war und sie zu jeglicher Zeit auf Hilfe angewiesen war.
Gleichermaßen bin ich sehr Naturverbunden, ich habe mich auch für entwicklungspolitische Projekte im Bereich der Natur beworben.
Denn die Umwelt ist unsere wichtigste Ressource, welche wir zu bewahren haben. Durch den dürftigen Umgang mit ihr kommt es zu Klimaschwankungen, Naturkatastrophen, Wasserknappheit, Artenrückgang etc. Ebenso sollen unsere nächsten Generationen an ihr Teilhaben und keinen Scheiterhaufen beseitigen.
In Paraguay werden 400.000ha Wald/Jahr gerodet, es gibt keinerlei unberührte Wälder mehr. Nichteinmal in Nationalparks, da dort illegal abgeholzt wird. In 50 Jahren hat der Bestand um mehr als 65% abgenommen.
Wir sind dazu aufgefordert dem entgegenzuwirken.
Ich bin gewillt durch meinen Freiwilligendienst aktiv zur Völkerverständigung beizutragen, ein Projekt zu unterstützen, welches den Menschen, und am besten der Natur im jeweiligen Gebiet zugute kommt und Einblick in das Leben auf der anderen Seite der Welt zu bekommen.
Meinen genauen Einsatzort kann ich noch nicht preisgeben, da mich die Organisation noch einem Projekt, nach meinen Wunschangaben zuteilen muss. Sobald ich einem Projekt zugeteilt wurde erfahrt ihr wo ich arbeiten und was ich machen werde.

There are many misunderstandings which are caused by cultural background, the best example for it are prejudices. We can not live in a society which is based on prejudices, in which we estrange us from each other as to come together. Especially not in an immigration country like germany is one. Day by day we are facing with other ethnic groups and we are trying to integrate them. That this can be possible we got to promote the international communication and the understanding among cultures. in this globalized world Intercultural understanding is necessary for political, economic, ecologic and social questions to find a justifiable solution. This can be allowed if you are living in a different culture and you got to adapt yourself to the circumstances to understand and integrate yourself. With my year abroad I want to extend my linguistic vocabulary and therefore also my cultural understanding. Social engagement is also a subject which must be appealed, because there are increasingly invalid people, above all, in the developing countries which live far from social support. And we just can improve that by getting active. In addition helping people always was a part of my life, because my mum has had MS and she depended on help of others to any time. I am very bounded with the nature, I have applied myself for developing-political projects in the area of the nature. The environment is our only and most important resource we have to reserve, not just for us, also for our next generations.
